Structure, not pressure.
The Reset Edit makes simple, practical support for people who don't need another lecture on motivation — they need a plan that survives a real week. That's the whole idea, and everything here is built to hold to it.
What we believe.
Wellbeing advice tends to arrive as pressure: do more, want it more, be more disciplined. In real life, effort is rarely the problem. The problem is that change turns up faster than the structure around it — and without structure, good intentions quietly come apart in the gaps of an ordinary week.
So we build the structure instead. Considered systems and guides you can actually follow when life interrupts: clear enough to be useful on a difficult day, gentle enough that they never tip into shame. We'd rather help you take the next steady step than sell you a transformation.
What The Reset Edit is.
- A small, deliberately edited collection of structured wellbeing systems and guides.
- Home of The GLP Reset™ — our main system — offering non-medical, practical support for life on and after GLP-1 medication.
- A quieter set of everyday resets for work and rest, screens, home and habit.
- Written and edited by people, held to a plain editorial standard, and corrected in the open when we get something wrong.
If you'd rather judge the work than the words, three of our GLP-1 guides are free — read them before spending anything.
What The Reset Edit isn't.
We think being clear about our limits is part of being trustworthy.
- It is not a medical service, and nothing here is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- It is not a substitute for your GP, prescriber, pharmacist or any qualified professional.
- It is not a supplement brand, and it doesn't sell or recommend medication.
- It does not prescribe, set doses, or tell you when to start, stop, taper or switch any medication — those are conversations for your clinician.
- It does not promise weight, health or treatment outcomes. Results and experiences vary.
For anything medication-related, always follow your patient information leaflet and speak to your prescriber or pharmacist, and refer to current NHS and GOV.UK guidance where appropriate.
Who's behind it.
The Reset Edit™ publishes its guides and systems under its own name, in one consistent editorial voice, edited to a documented standard. Our books are published under the author name Orla Rose — the name you'll see on their covers.
Behind that name is over thirty years spent working in healthcare, supporting people through complex and often life-limiting conditions — and a personal experience of GLP-1 treatment that led to The Reset Edit being created in the first place. That background shapes everything here: research-informed tools, real-world experience, and a conviction that lasting change begins from understanding rather than expectation.
To be plain: not a doctor, dietitian or coach. The work is lifestyle and educational support, reviewed and held to the standards in our editorial policy — never presented as medical expertise.
The Reset Edit is operated by The Reset Edit Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16430780).
If it helps, we've done our job.
That's the honest ambition — not to be your whole life, just a steady, well-made part of it. If you've a question, or something you'd like us to consider, we'd like to hear it.
