Edition updates
We keep these guides current. When we improve or correct anything, we log it here with the date, so you always know which version you have. The edition on sale now is always the latest one. If you recommend these guides to clients or patients, this is the page to check.
You don't need to replace your copy to keep using it. Where a change is worth knowing about, the note below says what to check, and if you'd like the current edition, we'll send it to you free.

New home for your free toolkit
The link to your free Reset Companion Toolkit now goes to a new page, where readers can also sign up for a short email whenever an edition is updated. The link is printed in your book, in the Quick Start Checklist and the free toolkit chapter. The previous link still works, so earlier copies are unaffected.
No recipes, meal plans or nutrition guidance have changed.
Have an earlier copy and want the update emails? Email edition@theresetedit.com with proof of purchase and we'll send you the link.

7 October 2026 · Eating Out, Travel & Real Life
Daily tablets and free guides
Since this book was last updated, a daily GLP-1 tablet that can be taken with or without food has been approved. The section on taking a tablet at breakfast now says that some tablets have timing rules and others don't, and still asks you to follow the leaflet that came with yours.
We also added links to our free guides on tracking, eating out and side-effect recovery,. No other guidance has changed.
Earlier copy and taking a tablet? Your leaflet is the guide to follow for timing, as it always was. -
7 October 2026 · The After Plan
Daily tablets and easier toolkit access
The book now covers daily GLP-1 tablets as well as injections. Some newer tablets leave the body within a few days rather than weeks, so appetite changes after stopping may arrive sooner. Switching to a daily tablet is also now mentioned as one of the ways people maintain their results, alongside a lower dose or coming off, always decided with your prescriber.
Your printable toolkit no longer needs an access phrase: it's at the link in your book. We also corrected one figure in the sources (lean tissue's share of weight lost in the STEP 1 trial is now given as about 40%). No guidance on eating, movement or habits has changed.

September 2026 · Low-Allergen Plan
Low-Allergen Plan retired
The Low-Allergen Plan is no longer published. It has been replaced by the Gluten, Milk & Soya-Free Plan, which has its own ISBN.
Have a copy of the Low-Allergen Plan? email us for the Gluten, Milk & Soya-Free Plan, free of charge. Like every edition, it isn't designed around every allergy, so keep checking labels. -

Editorial and accuracy review
We reviewed the whole series for accuracy and clarity, and every recipe was checked and updated. The revised editions are the ones on sale now, in print and as ebooks.

All editions: information about medicines
We've cut back the detail about specific GLP-1 medicines. These guides are about what to eat alongside treatment. For anything about your medicine (which form you take, how and when to take it, what it's licensed for where you live), they now point you to the patient information leaflet that came with it and to your prescriber, because those are the sources that stay current and apply to you.
-
Vegetarian Plan
Recipes that used Parmesan now use hard cheese, and a new note explains which cheeses are made with animal rennet and what to look for on the label.
Earlier copy? Check cheese labels for animal rennet when you cook those recipes. -
Gluten, Milk & Soya-Free Plan
One paragraph in the general nutrition chapter mentioned wholegrain bread and oats without saying to choose gluten-free versions. It now does.
Earlier copy? Choose bread and oats labelled gluten-free. -
All editions: calories and wording
Calorie ranges are now stated precisely for each plan, along with smaller fixes to wording and references.

Daily calorie levels and macro breakdown
Some early printings had daily meal plans that came in lower in calories than intended. We raised them to the right range, and the revised editions also added a per-meal breakdown of protein, fat and carbohydrate.
Earlier copy? We recommend using the daily plans in the current edition instead, and we'll send it to you free. If you're finding it hard to eat enough, or you're unsure how much you need, speak to your prescriber, doctor or a dietitian.
